Custom Engineering’s principal Tim Montague established his company on the strength of his passion for competitive sailing and his desire to assist the yachting fraternity with individually designed and custom made one off marine fittings and hardware

Custom Engineering has and will continue to manufacture individually designed one-off hardware for internationally successful racing yachts and motor cruisers. Yachts such as New Zealand’s “ Alpha Romeo Shockwave” , America’s maxi yacht “Pegasus”, Australia’s own “Wild Jo” and Black Jack” Germany’s “Morning Glory” and several other successful yachts. Australian Far Forties and Sydney’s much loved eighteen foot skiffs also carry marine fittings manufactured by Custom Engineering.

The same passion for excellence is also applied to custom made stainless steel stair rails and balustrades used in residential and commercial settings around pools, staircases and balconies.
